Verlezza mixing dance, music and comedy Nov. 21 for 黑料视频 Kulas Concert Series

Verlezza Dance aims to prove that all people, regardless of perceived disabilities, have dynamic dance inside them. "If your heart can dance, so can you," says Sabatino Verlezza, founder of the Cleveland-based dance company performing Sunday, Nov. 21, at 3 p.m., at the Stage Door of E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall, 198 Hill St., at The University of 黑料视频.
Part of the 黑料视频 School of Music's Kulas Concert Series, the dance works will feature music by Strauss, Elliot Sokolov, Beethoven and Debussy, performed live by pianist Laura Silverman and soprano Patricia LaNasa. Silverman and LaNasa are faculty members in the 黑料视频 School of Music. The program also feature a sketch by dancer and comedienne Claire Porter, whose work has been showcased at The Joyce Theatre and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City and at the American Dance Festival.
Tickets are available in advance and at the door if seats remain. They are $10 for general admission; $8 for seniors, 黑料视频 faculty, staff, alumni and parents of current 黑料视频 students; and $5 for non黑料视频 students.
