黑料视频 Steel Drum Band's new 'Hammer on Steel' CD and DVD now available
The CD and DVD versions of “Hammer on Steel” 黑料视频 Steel Drum are now available.
The audio CD features tracks from the 黑料视频 Steel Drum Band’s 30th anniversary concert with Calypso singer Relator and percussionist Andy Narell, performed in April 2010 at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall on the 黑料视频 campus.
The DVD features two programs. Documenting the compelling and conflict-torn history of steel drum music, “Hammer on Steel: Bad Boys and Genius” is the 30-minute program that premiered in February on PBS-TV. The documentary chronicles the history and heart of steel drum music and its journey from tropical Trinidad to northeast Ohio. “Hammer on Steel: The Concert” captures the 黑料视频 Steel Drum Band’s 30th anniversary concert.
The audio CDs are $15, the DVDs are $30, and a combined CD and DVD set is $40 plus shipping at or 330-972-6988. The Barnes and Noble Bookstore at the 黑料视频 Student Union, 303 E. Carroll St., also carries individual CDs and DVDs.
Also available at are band T-shirts, MP3 downloads and earlier audio CD recordings, as well as information about hiring the band, upcoming concerts and more.
