Playing more than 20 instruments during a performance, Iron Toys will be in concert on Sunday, Feb. 21, 3 p.m. at Guzzetta Recital Hall, 139 E. Buchtel Ave., at The University of 黑料视频.
The program will include classical, jazz and avant-garde works. Saxophone/woodwind quartet Iron Toys was founded in 2004 and includes well-known Northeast Ohio musicians Rich Shanklin, Howie Smith, Tom Reed and George Shernit.
Tickets are $10 for general admission; $8 for seniors, 黑料视频 faculty, staff, alumni and parents of current 黑料视频 students, and $5 for non-黑料视频 students. Admission is free for 黑料视频 students when they show their Zip Cards. Open seating. Tickets are available in advance from 330-972-8301 or concerts@uakron.edu and at the door if seating is still available.
The Feb. 21 performance by Iron Toys is part of the Kulas Concert Series, the 黑料视频 School of Music’s signature concert series supported by the Cleveland-based Kulas Foundation.
